L’utilizzo di materiali tecnologici comporta la necessità di utilizzare sistemi di taglio con acqua ad alta pressione, al fine di garantire l’alta qualità nel taglio, con dei costi di produzione nettamente superiori al taglio con disco. Considerando che i produttori di dischi sviluppano prodotti in grado di tagliare materiali tecnologici con un ottimo grado di qualità, e valutando che il taglio con disco è sempre più veloce dell’acqua e ha un costo inferiore, l’abbinare i due sistemi – taglio con acqua ad alta pressione e taglio con disco – è un’ottima unione che soddisfa pienamente qualità, costi di produzione e tempi di lavoro contenuti.
Il Water Jet è la soluzione di taglio a freddo idonea per pezzi sagomati con geometrie più o meno complesse, fino a spessori abbastanza significativi. Può essere impiegato un getto ad acqua pura oppure misto con abrasivo. L’unità di taglio è montata a bordo della slitta di asse (Z) ed è composta da un kit di taglio che provvede alla miscelazione acqua e abrasivo. Le teste per il taglio a getto d’acqua utilizzate da OMAG garantiscono la massima efficienza e una manutenzione minima.

The use of technological materials entails the need to use cutting systems with high pressure water, in order to ensure high quality cutting, with production costs significantly higher than cutting on disk. Considering that the disc manufacturers are increasingly developing products capable of cutting technological materials with an excellent degree of quality; considering that cutting with a disc is always faster than water and has a lower cost. The combination of the two systems, cutting with high pressure water and cutting with disc, is an excellent combination that fully satisfies quality, production costs and low working times.

The Water Jet is the cold cutting solution, suitable for pieces shaped with more or less complex geometries up to thicknesses
quite significant. A water jet can be used pure or mixed with abrasive. The cutting unit is mounted on edge of the axis slide (Z) and is composed of a cutting kit which provides for the mixing of water and abrasive. The heads for cutting water jet used by OMAG guarantee the maximum efficiency and minimal maintenance.

Viele Hersteller von Trennscheiben treiben die Entwicklung von Produkten voran, die in der Lage sind, technologische Materialien mit einer optimalen Qualität zu schneiden. Dabei muss berücksichtigt werden, dass das Schneiden mit der Trennscheibe immer schneller und kostengünstiger ist als das Wasserstrahlschneiden. Der Water Jet ist eine Lösung für das Kaltschneiden geformter Produkte mit mehr oder weniger komplexen Geometrien bis zu relativ großen Dicken. Es kann ein Wasserstrahlschneider verwendet werden oder ein gemischtes System mit Abrasivmittel. Der Schneidekopf ist auf einem Wagen der Z-Achse montiert und besteht aus einem Schneidesatz, der das Wasser und das Abrasivmittel mischt.
